Groups leading to accreditation in various component certificates of FETAC level 3 Certification i.e. Personal Effectiveness, Application of Number, Child Development & Play, Nutrition and Healthy Options. Computer Literacy and Internet Skills are delivered are intregrated. For adults this is an interesting step to accredited learning. Portfolio based. |

Storysacks group make and fill a “sack” with a children’s book, background scenery and props to bring the book to life for the child. This leads to encouraging parent/child interaction through the reading and telling of the story. The parent is also encouraged to make a game to go with the storybook. There is also a non-fiction book related to the storybook to take the learning one step further. Limited creche facilities are available free of charge. See photos on Events page. Child Development & Play is offered as progression to develop student’s knowledge and understanding of the value and importance of the parent as the primary educator. Accreditation is optional at FETAC Level 3. |

An adult education guidance service is provided, by City Dublin VEC, to meet with students on a one to one basis. Guidance on educational progression routes is also provided to the learning groups. |
